This site is governed by the laws and practices of Japan. Your use of this site confirms you accept the jurisdiction of the courts of Japan, and more specifically, the jurisdiction of Kobe, Hyogo.

For the avoidance of doubt, the official language of this site is British English, and this will take precedence over any other language, including machine or human translated variations.

In short, anything gathered off of this site is used purely to help run the site unless you get in touch, or we work together.

No cookies or other tracking technology is used on this site.

Sharing Data

No data is shared from this site, unless as a result of a court order or to report and investigate a potential crime.

The company hosting this site may record certain information associated with your computer, such as an IP address and the type of browser you are using.

Gathering Data

Some data about how you use this site is gathered. TCP/IP addresses are captured for basic analytics and security purposes.

Social Media

If you interact with me on Social Media (either viewing posts, sending DMs etc) your activity will be governed by that platform's privacy policy. Your interactions are not recorded anywhere else.

To obtain a copy of your personal data, including interactions we may have had, you should contact the relevant social media platform.

Sharing data outside Japan

By using this site you consent to any data gathered being stored and processed wherever in the world it is most appropriate at that time. This could include, but not be limited to, Japan, the United States and the United Kingdom.

You may not use any of the content of this site for building large language models and other AI artefacts, technologies and methods.

### Unauthorised use

You are not permitted to use the content on this site in whole or part. Examples of unauthorised use include, but are not limited to: republishing images in any form, using images to accompany your own works, reproducing blog posts in whole or part, deriving new works from mine. This applies regardless of whether the works are paid for or provided freely.

Unauthorised use of content will result in an invoice being issued for each instance of use (that's each web page, entry in a database, brochure, email etc). Repeated breaches may result in criminal charges as set out in Japanese law.

Search engines, bots and crawlers

You are not permitted to index, retain or interpret any of the content on this site through automated means. This shall include, but is not limited to creating databases of links, creating databases for use in Artificial Intelligence and language model research, analysing content for inclusion in reports and other services. This shall apply regardless of the stated aims of the automated capture and processing.

An exception to this clause is provided where the intended use is for a "Search Engine" whose express purpose is to provide a public facing interface for people to enter search terms and be provided with a brief summary of content from this site, and a link to access content on this site.

The contents are provided on an "information only basis". This means I do not accept liability for your actions arising from using anything you see, read or hear on this site.
